RT&A IS COMPRISED OF THERAPISTS OF VARIOUS BACKGROUNDS, SPECIALIZATIONS, AND EXPERIENCES. WE ASSIST CLIENTS IN THEIR JOURNEY TO EMOTIONAL WELLNESS AND HEALTH, AND REDUCE ANY DYSFUNCTIONAL SYMPTOMS AND BEHAVIORS.
Group Therapy / RT&A Method
In group therapy, we help to create a safe environment to encourage deep emotional growth and behavioral change. Groups are comprised of clients who would not only gain from the support of the group, but who would be triggered by each other. The triggers are a major part of the “working through process “in an RT&A group. This separates our groups from support groups. RT&A prides itself on being a practice where each staff member also actively participates in their own growth work.
Other goals for Group Therapy:
Developing a sense of self-empowerment
Accepting feedback from others without internal criticism
Asking for your needs to be met by others
Confronting and working through issues of authority, power, and control
Working through conflict rather than running from it
Developing intimate and nurturing relationships
Recognizing what is and is not your responsibility in relationship issues
RT&A also features “Marathon” Groups
Marathon groups are an all-day intensive (16-18 hour) structured program that enables clients to do a deeper level of emotional work. Client feedback has stated that one marathon is often equal to 4-6 months of therapy. Stay tuned for more information on the next Marathon, email ricktiversandassociates@gmail.com, or use our Contact page to inquire about upcoming sessions.
RT&A receives referrals to leading treatment centers in the country based on our productive group work.
